The deadline for paper proposals for SCSECS 2027 is now November 1, 2026! We will be accepting panel proposals until October 1, 2026. Please see our Call for Papers and List of Proposed Panels. We hope you will join us in Santa Fe, New Mexico for our fiftieth annual meeting on February 18-20, 2027. The meeting's theme will be The Expansive City: Cultural Crossroads Under the Stars and Above the Sands. This year's venue will be the historic El Dorado Hotel.
