Special Issue: "The Quixotic Eighteenth Century"
Studies in Religion and the Enlightenment

In conjunction with our 2023 meeting in Bryan-College Station, Texas, conferees are encouraged to submit revised versions of their conference papers for publication in a special themed issue of the open-access peer reviewed journal Studies in Religion and the Enlightenment. Manuscripts for full-length articles should be 5,000-8,000 words. Commentaries or mini-articles of 2,000-3,000 words will also be considered.

The 2023 conference program is now available on line, along with an updated venue page with information about the hotel and suggestions about air and ground transportation.

The hotel has provided a dedicated link through which SCSECSers may reserve their rooms at the discounted conference rate. Please note that to lock in this special rate of $119 per night plus tax, you must make your reservation by the deadline date of January 24.

This year, for the first time, we can offer the option of electronic payment of conference registration through Venmo or Zelle. Please see the registration form for details. To qualify for a lower early registration fee, your payment must be sent electronically or through the mail (if paying by check) by February 1.
